6:55 pm - LOOONNGGG Time no see
|
As an unfortunate result of only coming on at times when Livejournal is down, I have had a lack of posts. Magically, not much has happened. My exciting life. I went to Illinois for Christmas, and spent New Years dfixing my aunts computer. Then on Fat Tuesday I had a breakdown in the car. and THEN after THAT I did stuff. In between I went to school. Today I went to Walmart today, to kill an afternoon. There was a greasy fellow there named Enrique therewho looked like a molester. I walked away from him feeling as though I needed a shower. He was scary. Yesterday I went to the Room Store and napped with my mom in a chase loungechair, and talked to a guy named Steve. I almost sold the loungechair. After that I went to see Time Machine (it's a video movie) and played air Hockey with my cousin. Some videos too. I think I'm gonna go take a nap.

Haven;t updated in a few days. I should really get on the ball on the home page I'm attempting to create, methinks. But I'm too lazy, a la momenta. Huh. Well, plus my incredible lack of anything interesting or funny to say contributes to that. Ah well. The Brunching BB is down, which is why I'm remembering to post to this. Otherwise, I'd be lost. I'm a tad sleepy, hence my ramblage. Plus, the song just changed to "White Rabbit" which may be one of the tripper songs in history. Max the Beagle just sat on my foot. The one with the sock on it. Now I have one really warm foot, and one really cold one. Ah well. C'est la vie.

Well, guess where I was today. It was marvelous. I ate till I dropped, bought a backpack made of llama's wool, saw tumblers, a parade, a laser show, and a Bonnie and Clyde exhibit. I walked A LOT. I tried out all the sucker gadgets, a bunch of which we came home with. I saw the cars. I have blisters on my feet like quarters. Life is good.

Why is it, the more sleep I get, the more sleepy I am?
Why is it that watching both of The Blues Brothers in succession makes me feelso good?
Why does football put me to sleep within minutes, yet I can watch rugby and boxing for hours on end?
Just a few questions.

In other news. . . .
Band has been starting at 7 am again. Gah, first semester is a killer. Which leads to me sleeping 15 hours in one day. Well, I have this week off for fall break, I can't figure out what to do with myself. Porbably sleep. constant exaustion does that. Upon review, I cant for the life of me figure out why someone would actually read this drivel I have chosen to put on display to the world. Not this post so much as just the entire thing. It;s all rather terrifying, the things that come out of my head at random moments. Not to mention utterly boring to read. Okay, Toni has a friend over for the night, I'm gona go exile myself to the couch for the night. Hope I havesomething to read. . . .Oh well. Boxing shall come through.

Well, considering I think I posted at the beginning of August, right when school started, I have a lot of catching up to do. Band is in full swing, and we FINALLY finished learning our show a couple weeks ago, and let me tell you, it is a LONG ass show. about 10 or 15 minutes, which is a LONG ass time to be sweating in front of a couple thousand people in a stupid ass outfit. But enough about long, stupid asses (a joke a minute when it feels like im on speed). Well, let's see. Other than that, first report card of the year's come out, and im on vacation for a week here in 2 days. Fun fun. I plan on organizing a fund raiser for the New Yorkers with another clarinet. On another note, sleep deprivation does funyn things to a person. I seem to be sleeping through more and more of my classes, which is always interesting. But thats about it in a nutshell. Hooweee! Hose me down, boys!

|
I got a new computer, explainingthe long hiatus from updating, among other things (forgetting). Not much has happened, school's in full swing. My hardest class, easily, is honors Chemistry. My lord that is difficult. We've got audiogalaxy on here, so it's kinda groovy. I've got the beatles on here "Come Together." You can never have enough beatles, DaveMatthews or Ben Harper. Even if I can't find a poster of the latter. Nothing huge has really happened. So, adios

12:22 am - I've had an interesting time of it.
|
I sleepy, but I haven't updated in forever. School started the 2nd, which tells me how long its been since I updated. Band practice hath also started, at 7 am every morning, oh the fun of being a clarinet in the Warrior Marching Band. My cousins from Albequerque leave tomorrow morning, the same time I leave for Austin tomorrow. I just got back from Six Flags, where I went after school. Yesterday, however, I went to the Ranger's gmae. I've been a busy girl. At the Ballpark, my cousin Chris and I got lost. My family insisted I take him by a sports memorabilia museum that's there, and we GOT there fine. One problemo: there weren't any exscaltors going up, they were all descalatin, as we coined the term. So, we basically walked about for two hours wound up taking the longest route up, and by the time we got there, it was the bottom of the ninth inning, and our family had left. So we walked another 20 minutes out to the car, post- screaming match over which exit to use, home plate or third base. (It turned out home plate was right.) There were people staring at us. So, we walked all the way to the car, and there was none there! So, we found a payphone and called them on their cellphone. Then sat and waited ten minutes. Oh, the fun. As to the actual getting lost, it all hinged on the escalators. NONE were going up, they were all coming down. So, we went up this one stair case and wound up in a deck I've never been able to afford. So, being in the cheap seats, we figured, we'll find a stair case. Well, we found one, and it led to a carpeted area, which had no way to go up from. So we left, found ANOTHER staircase, went upn it. More carpet. So we left, found yet a third staircase, climbed it and alas, there was a clerk/attendant guy. "You aren't allowed in the area with the carpet, you have the cheap seats" If he hadnt been about 85, I'd have throttled him right there. I hate condesencion. So, we leave, lap te place again to ake sure we havent missed anything. So, we finally wind up taking the WHEELCHAIR ramp all the way up to the top, and by the time we got there, it was over, Rangers 7, Tigers 3. Boo-yah!So, no family to be found. We left, and the resdt is history. As for today, I went to Six Flas after school. Was whee-fun. riding all those rides. Flying through the air at 80 miled per hour is my kinda style. Titan, heck yeah, buddy. So, we rode that, and that all lead to my present exaustion. I go sleep now!

8 am is not a real time of day. And that's the time practice for marching band starts. And I also can't belive that I have school next freaking thursday. Gah. I look foward to it not. Well, aside from that, not much has happened, aside from getting my clarinet out of the shop. I beat Super Mario Bros. 3 the other day. I was all, heck yeah, baby. Who's got some mad skills up in here? Me, thats whoj. Oh, yeah, thats right baby. On another note, the getting the shots thing today was a bust. I had a jackass doctor, and forgot all the info. So I rescheduled for Friday. Cross thy fingers in hope for me! I hate needles, but I'm swearing off punching the doctor again. I mean, I was five at the time, but still. . .

You know, for the life of me, I can't figure out how to beat the final boss in Super Mario Bros 3. I've got the whole world, and the castle whipped. I just have to figure out how to kill this guy. It's all rather frustrating. But, aside from that, life is pretty darned good, if a little dull.

Dave Matthews is the greatest live entertainer ever. Period. There is no room for contestation. On Sunday, I went to the concert. Wyclef Jean opened, and he brought down the house. Then Dave came out and brought down the neighborhood. 'Twas very good, even if the people i was sitting next to smoked grass the whole time. I got a mild high, and a small buzz off the pina colada i stole from a friend. VERY good. Other than that, not much has happened the last couple days. so, farewell!

Well, all I've done today is get up, feed the dog, help my sister clean our room, and i jsut got dressed. We're going for yummy pizza in about ten minutes though. Yummy pizza. . . . Okay, shaking that off. I've decided that cleanliness is a non-necessity designed by early parents to keep their kids busy, which evolved into this cutlural NEED. Really, I was doing fine walking on top of 3 mountains of clothes. But noooooo. So I got to spend 4 hours shoveling out our room to the tender sounds of NSync, God help me. Grrr.

I saw A Knights Tale. And it was everything I thought it would be. And more. Oh, yes, 14th century peasants singing along to "We Will Rock You" Is a good ol' time. Actually, singing and all, it was pretty good. I liked it. 'Twas a good ol' movie, in ye ol' dollar movie. Okay, I'm done doing Scarborough Fair. But its worth seeing to the few that havent. But oh well. I trimmed hedges today, and broke a nail in the process. I was rather maddened, to the point of kicking the guilty plant, then proceeding to chop it down with the clippers. A whole bush. Looking back, that may not have been the best of ideas, but it was the heat of the moment, and all that. Then I went out and played with my dogs. It was a party. They said hello, I saaid hello, I threw the frisbee, they chased it. Good fun. And, thats been about it.
